Outcomes-Driven Impact Analysis & Decision-Making

States received an infusion of federal relief dollars in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To promote thoughtful and sustainable investment of federal relief dollars as demonstrated by measurable impact, our client engaged Ikaso for strategic and operational support.

The Challenge

To demonstrate responsible and active investment of federal relief funds and how our client was directly impacting the lives of their constituents.

The Outcome

Our team designed a collaborative process to set and measure target outcomes for investments across the whole agency. We continue to execute this process on a regular basis to review past progress, discuss how this may impact future initiatives, report out key highlights, and adapt the project approach as informed by the data.

Values-Centered Approach

Our work on this project exemplifies the Ikaso values of Integrity and Community. We work closely with the full client team, from executive leadership to data staff, to intentionally measure how investments are improving the health and well-being of our target populations and actively support data collection and impact report development. Our initial whiteboarding sessions collected voices from across the agency and generated genuine buy-in from top to bottom.
