Coordinated Sourcing with Schools and Local Government

collaborating with local government and K-12 school districts to generate savings, the state sought to increase the purchasing volume in its existing agreements.

The Challenge

Increasing voluntary local participation in state contracts and adding capacity for state staff to foster local partnerships.

The Outcome

We identified contracts where state and local purchases overlapped. The Ikaso team then found opportunities to modify state contracts to bridge local and State purchasing needs.

Values-Centered Approach

Ikaso conducted a data-driven analysis to demonstrate the positive impact of purchasing collaboration and support the state’s efforts to encourage participation in state contracts.

Highlighted Results

Ikaso has led coordinated procurement processes that take into account the needs of a variety of end users. This includes working alongside state staff on new procurements as well as on the adaptation of existing contracts.  Ikaso provides data analysis, data presentation, competitive solicitation development, written communications and marketing consultation to support the successful achievement of project goals.
